The train ride was really and the staff were super nice. For some reason, though, it just felt a bit longer than I expected for what it was. I’m glad I did it once, but I’m not totally sure I’d go again.

I did enjoy the train ride overall. It was calm, easy, and the scenery was really nice to look at. I just kept thinking that for what we paid, it would go on a bit longer. Right when it started to feel like we were settling in and really enjoying it, we were already getting off, so... yeah. Not a bad experience at all, just didn’t quite feel like enough for me.

I’ll admit, I saw the cute old train and immediately figured this was going to be an easy little win. And it mostly was! The logging stories were actually interesting, and the whole setup had a nice old-timey feel. That said, I also assumed the ride would be more comfortable, but the seats felt cramped, and the narration went on a bit longer than I expected. Still glad I did it, just not something I’d rush back to...

Boarding was actually way easier than I expected when we went. I’m not always great at figuring out where to line up or what we’re supposed to do, so I was kind of expecting it to be confusing, but the staff pointed everyone in the right direction and the line moved quickly. Parking was a breeze when we got there, which instantly made me feel more relaxed. We didn’t have to circle around or get annoyed looking for a spot. Found one close by, walked right in, and the whole trip just started off on a way better note

I walked in not really sure how long it was going to take, and I was expecting to wait around for a while. But the staff jumped in right away, figured out what I needed, and helped me get it sorted much faster than I expected. Went for the holiday ride. Decorations looked nice. Cute setup. But it all felt a little rushed. Kids had fun, so that helped. Still, for the price, I expected more.

I wasn’t totally sure the Skunk Train would be my thing, but I have to admit it was a really nice time. The scenery was easily the best part for me, with all the trees, river views, and quiet stretches of forest. It felt calm and not rushed at all. I took plenty of pictures, but I spent most of the ride just looking out the window. I’d probably go again, which I didn’t really expect to say.

My wife and I did the railbike and had a really good time. It’s not something I’d recommend if you’re looking for a super high-energy activity, but if you want an easygoing ride with nice scenery, it’s perfect. The pace was comfortable, the staff was friendly without overdoing it, and even though it was a little chilly, it was still totally worth it. We’d definitely do it again

We took the Skunk Train on a chilly day, and I was really glad we checked the weather before heading out. I’ve done a few train rides like this before where I showed up underdressed, so this time I made sure to bring an extra layer. The staff seemed well prepared and did a good job letting everyone know what to expect, which made the whole thing feel easy and relaxed.

The only reason I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few parts of the ride were colder than I expected, and I wish the online info had been a little clearer about what to wear. That said, it was still a really fun experience and definitely worth doing. Just bring a jacket and you’ll have a much better time.
